While the Help Yourself Restelo Hostel does not have the most central location, their prices cannot be beaten.

A bed in the nine-person dorm goes for nine euros per night. Their weekly rate for the bed is €49 you can have the bed for a month for €190.

They also offer a private room for groups of five people for €14 per person per night. The weekly rate for this room is €89, and the monthly rate for this room is €340 for one person, €440 for a second person.

Pets are allowed in private rooms for an extra fee.

Help Yourself Hostel Restelo has a view of the Tagus river, a fully equipped kitchen, and easy access to public transport.

It was voted the second-best hostel in the world in 2008 and 2009.  I know it sounds like a long time ago, but a lot of hostels have never been that good.

Six-bed mixed dorm starts at €11. The four-bed mixed dorm starts at €13. Twin private rooms are €59. Breakfast is included with all options.

You can watch TV in their large common area, enjoy walking tours, pub crawls, wine and tapas night, fado night, or a home-cooked meal at Rossio Hostel.

The hostel has a remodeled kitchen. The showers are equipped with radios. Your bed comes with a locker, a lock, duvet, free linens, and towels.
