This summer we have the return of the top music festivals in Portugal in 2022. All systems say “Go.” Whether you want electronic music, alternative, pop, hard rock, or hip hop, there is something here for everyone this summer.
Rock in Rio, June 18, 19, 25, 26, Lisbon
The festival will be held at Parque de Bela Vista, over two consecutive weekends.
On June 18 headliners include the Foo Fighters, The National, and Liam Gallagher.
On June 19, Black Eyed Peas, Ellie Goulding, Ivete Sangalo, and David Carreira will take the stage.
June 25 will see Duran Duran, A Ha, Xutos e Pontapés, and Bush.
The festival will close on the 26th of June with Post Malone, Anitta, Jason Derulo and HMB.
One-day tickets for Rock in Rio Lisboa are €74. Weekend passes cost €121.

The concert provides special access platforms for guests with special needs as well as an area for expectant mothers.
NOS alive festival takes place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, eight minutes from downtown Lisbon and 15 minutes from the beach.

Super Bock Super Rock July 14-16, Lisbon
Super Bock will host the 26th edition of Super Rock at Praia do Meco, Sesimbra, on July 14, 15, 16.
Confirmed artists include A$AP Rocky, Foals, Hot Chip, Goldlink, Boy Pablo, Ganso, and Pedro de Tróia.
A three-day pass is €115. Daily tickets are currently going for €58.
Between April 11 and July 14 the price rises to €62, and at the festival gate €65.
Camping is not included in the ticket price.
Car camping (one car + five people) pass is an additional €45.
Park and tent for one night only for one car +5 people is an additional €35.

Boom Festival July 22-29, Idanha a Nova
Held on a lake near historical Idanha-a-Nova in central Portugal, near the city of Castelo Branco. The festival takes place 260 km from Lisbon, and360 km from Madrid.
This year is the 25th-anniversary edition of the festival. This year’s theme is “The Anthropocene.”

RFM Somnii July 8-10 at Praia do Relógio, Figueira da Foz. The festival showcases EDM, Electronic, House, Techno, and Trance.
Billed as “the Biggest Sunset Ever,” it is Portugal’s largest beach party and one of the biggest in Europe.
Featuring Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alan Walker, Alok, Mandragora, Sean Paul, and Vini Vici.
Tickets start at $36.60.
By train from Lisbon’s Oriente Station, take a train to Alfarelos, and from there take another train to Figueira da Foz. From Porto Campanha take a train to Coimbra, and then another train to Figueira da Foz.

This year’s Sol da Caparica Festival will be five days long – one day longer than in the past.
The festival will be held at Parque Urbana da Caparica, on the beach just south of Lisbon.

The Sónar Festival is spreading out from Barcelona and coming to Lisbon in 2022.
Shows will be held day and night at different venues around town.
Nightly events will take place at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, Coliseu dos Recreios, and the Lisbon Congress Center.
During the day events will take place at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes and at the Fábrica do Pão (Bread Factory) Venue.
