The website Home – lisbontravelideas.com is offering a small scholarship for undergraduate students from the USA who are going to study abroad at any university in Portugal during the upcoming year.
Lisbontravelideas.com will provide one $200 scholarship for one American undergraduate student studying in Portugal at any point during the academic year 2023 – 2024. This includes summer programs abroad.
The recipient is free to spend the stipend as they see fit while in Portugal. The hope is that it will provide the recipient with more opportunities to experience local culture and life while visiting.
The candidate must provide a detailed plan of their study abroad itinerary and provide proof of their acceptance and participation in an upcoming study-abroad program in Portugal. The candidate should also provide a current resume and copy of their transcript.
Applicants will be judged by merit on a first-come-first-served basis. Applications will be accepted until April 15, 2023.
Lisbontravelideas.com will expand the number and size of scholarships in the future as the website begins to generate more profit.
Eligibility requirements
Lisbontravelideas.com Portuguese Study Abroad Scholarship is open to any citizen and or resident of the United States (and its territories and possessions) that is enrolled full-time at an accredited institution of higher learning. All other entries will be disqualified.
The scholarship is only available to undergraduate students.
There is no age limit for the scholarship.
How much money will be awarded?
Lisbontravelideas.com Portugal Study Abroad Scholarship currently awards US $200 to one student per academic year.

No purchase is necessary. Lisbontravelideas.com Portugal Study Abroad Scholarship is open to any citizen or resident of the United States and its territories and possessions who is enrolled full-time at an accredited institution of higher learning. All other entries will be disqualified.
Each candidate may submit one entry. If it is determined that a participant has entered with more than one identity, all of the participant’s submissions will be disqualified.
Once submitted, no confirmation email will be sent to the applicant.
No notification will be sent to non-winning applicants.
The winner of the scholarship, their school, and the study abroad program will be notified that the participant will receive the scholarship.
The winner must provide a valid PayPal account email address to which the scholarship funds will be sent.
The winner of the scholarship has no obligations other than enjoying their time in Portugal.
